Park Pony Finds New Home

Posted By Carrie L. Lewis on November 11, 2009

As many of you know, I recently donated an original colored pencil painting, Park Pony, to a local benefit sale.

Park Pony, an original colored pencil painting, was chosen by a representative of The Kansas Christian Home Auxiliary for their 2009 holiday bazaar.

The Holiday Bazaar & Bake Sale was November 6 & 7, 2009.  The painting brought in nearly $300 during the weekend.

I am very pleased to announce the Cedar Point, Kansas resident, Judy Wealand, is now the owner of Park Pony. Neal and I had the great pleasure of delivering the painting to Judy at her home on Sunday. It’s always a thrill to see artwork in good homes and Park Pony is certainly in a good home.

My thanks to Judy for visiting the KCH Auxiliary Bazaar this past weekend and for participating in the Park Pony raffle. Congratulations are in order, too!

Proceeds from sales and the raffle help support the Kansas Christian Home in Newton, Kansas.
